Jawnathan the Human is the last surviving member of the secret order of the Jawnathans. As is common knowledge, when the Great War broke out between the Jawnathans and the WordBetSwaggians there was total destruction. When peace was finally achieved, Jawnathan the Human found solace in music.

Starting at 8pm, with sign-ups for slots as early as 6:30pm, ALL are welcome to share — music, poetry, rhythm, joke, song; as our host Richie Parrella cultivates a safe space to be weirdly and fully you!
If you’ve everrrr considered sharing something, but didn’t quite have the courage to do it at an inattentive bar; we ensure you’ll find this space to be so supportive that you'll be glad you took the chance!
DEF come for the hand-squeezed kava teas, herbal wines and elixirs to #getloosewithoutthebooze, organic vegan eats, and chill atmosphere, regardless of your open mic participation capacities there are lots of cushiony floor seats and mucho bench room for audience members and performers alike!

8-10PM OPEN MIC! Sign up in-person for 10-15 minute slots
10-11PM ACOUSTIC JAMS: we cut amplified sound at 10pm to honor the families that live upstairs, but spoken word or acoustic shares and songs are so welcome! Even impromtu jams!!

THE HERBAL BAR: serving food and drink and will stay open as late as Midnight if demand is there! Expect hand-squeezed kava teas, euphoric, non-alcoholic herbal elixirs, house-brewed potions, chai, and always some savory kitchari kind of thing (jackfruit curry!) and a baked sweet treat (carrot cake jawns!)
